Edit User Assets

The following steps will guide you manage all resources associated to the user.

  1. Follow the steps described in View user details section.

  2. This will display the selected user's details. In the section User Assets you can:

  • Associate applications:

  1. Go to Applications tab and click ASSOCIATE button to associate a new application to user.

  2. This will display a popup with the domain applications list minus already associated applications.

  3. You can search application by Search text field, and you can select one or more applications by relative checkbox. You can also select all applications by Select all switch.

  4. Once the desired applications have been selected, click on ASSOCIATE button.

Remember that these applications will be associated Direct to user.

  • Remove applications:

  1. Go to Applications tab.

  2. Click on trashcan icon relating to the row of the application whose association with the user you want to remove.

  3. Click on DELETE button to confirm the operation.

Remember that only Direct association to user can be remove.

  • Associate groups:

  1. Go to Groups tab and click ASSOCIATE button to associate a new group to user.

  2. This will display a popup with the domain groups list minus already associated groups.

  3. You can search groups by Search text field, and you can select one or more groups by relative checkbox. You can also select all groups by Select all switch.

  4. Once the desired groups have been selected, click on ASSOCIATE button.

  • Remove groups:

  1. Go to Groups tab.

  2. Click on trashcan icon relating to the row of the group whose association with the user you wish to remove.

  3. Click on DELETE button to confirm the operation.

If a user-group association is deleted, all user-applications associations for applications in that group will also be removed

  • Associate attributes:

  1. Go to Attributes tab, this will display two tables: the first contains attributes directly associated to user, instead the second contains the attributes associated to user by user-groups associations.

  2. You can value a new attribute from the first table, click on ADD ATTRIBUTES button.

  3. This will display a popup. Search and select the desired attribute from Search attribute select.

  4. Click on plus icon below and insert the value for attribute in text area. You can add more values for the attribute, always clicking on plus icon.

  5. Click on ADD button.

  • Edit attribute values:

  1. Go to Attributes tab, this will display two tables: the first contains attributes directly associated to user, instead the second contains the attributes associated to user by user-groups associations.

  2. Click on pencil icon of the attribute row you want to edit.

  3. Click on plus icon to add a new value for attribute or click on pencil icon in the values already present.

  4. Click on CONFIRM button.

Remember that only attribute values directly associated to user can be edited.

  • Remove attributes:

  1. Go to Attributes tab, this will display two tables: the first contains attributes directly associated to user, instead the second contains the attributes associated to user by user-groups associations.

  2. Click on trashcan icon relating to the row of the attribute you want to remove from user.

  3. Click on DELETE button to confirm the operation.

Remember that only attribute values directly associated to user can be deleted.

  • Associate scopes:

  1. Go to Scopes tab.

  2. Click on ASSOCIATE button.

  3. This will display a popup with the OAuth/OpenID applications list that have scopes. You can search application by Search text field, and you can select one or more applications by relative checkbox. You can also select all applications by Select all switch.

  4. One you have selected one or more applications, select one or more scopes from Scopes select below.

Remember that the Scopes select is populated by scopes from the selected applications at step 5.

  1. Click on ASSOCIATE button to confirm the operation.
  • Edit scopes:

  1. Go to Scopes tab.

  2. Click on pencil icon relating to the row of the scope you want to edit.

  3. This will display a popup with the previous values inserted and which can be changed.

  4. Click on CONFIRM button to confirm the operation.

  • Remove scopes:

  1. Go to Scopes tab.

  2. Click on trashcan icon relating to the row of the scope you want to remove.

  3. Click on DELETE button to confirm the operation.
