Introduction

Group management is an essential aspect of organizing and managing users within a domain. Groups allow you to establish common properties for a specific set of users, enabling the association of attributes, applications, and scopes with these groups. These attributes and assets are then inherited by the users who are members of the group.

By leveraging the potential of group configuration, Monokee enables you to implement complex Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) policies. For example, you can create RBAC rules to govern access to specific applications or resources based on a user's group membership.

Administrators can create, edit, and delete groups. They can add users and applications to groups, associate attributes whose values will be the same for all users in the group, and configure allowed scopes for OAuth/OpenID applications within the group.

Proper group management is crucial for maintaining the security and integrity of your organization, as well as ensuring that users have appropriate access to perform their tasks.
